Default carbon tax

Okay, maybe a stupid question, but I see there is certain exemptions from paying the upcoming carbon tax on fuel for farmers and fishers. How likely could that also apply to trappers?

I don’t think that it’s a stupid question but I don’t think that they would exempt carbon tax on fuel used on a Trapline. Fuel for skidoos and quads on Trapline is such a minuscule amount in comparison to what farmers and fishermen use that it’d hardly be worth it imo.
They ought to exempt propane for farmer’s grain dryers before that (Oops, possible derail).
