Default things have gone to far

What is wrong with the people who did this?!
A sticker was found at one of the boat launches as well with the same message on it.
Slash people's tires because one of them is a Filipino?! REALLY?

Hope they catch them, publish their names, and they lose their jobs for it. Courts won't do anything of consequence.

I was in the Okanagan to sign papers and check on welfare (through the glass) on Father in law (drop off extra clothes and treats). Mom is still living independently but we go up every few months to do house cleaning and help with the garden.

Have had threatening notes on my windshield (people to chicken**** to talk to my face). One of the nurses at the home said she is from Alberta on loan from an Edmonton hospital for specialized work. Had her tires slashed and car key'd. She had been forced to take the bus to work.

I thought this post was going to be about the tearing down of the pyramids because the workers may have been treated poorly.

How can anyone hate on a Filipino? They are the nicest people on earth!

Interracial relationships with Filipino's is VERY common, hard to imagine anyone getting bent outa shape about that? Grandma was right, the world IS going to hell in a hand basket. She said that 15 years ago, if she only knew how right she was!

Some people arent very bright, maybe they thought this person was from China.

Not that it matters where the person is from, but Covid has many all wound up and having a hate-on for anything Chinese. Just a thought.

I'm not condoning any of this, as it's a sad state of affairs, but I believe the outbreaks in Cargill and alot of the extended care facilities were of the philippino descendant, and like most Asian cultures they tend to have large families in small houses, and more often than not, they each are working multiple jobs. So it's easy to see how it "could" spread easier, and some people could place the blame/hate on them. Its not right in anyway, but there's alot of pent up frustration and stress on everyone, so it only takes one second of misinformed judgement for this to happen.

A little bit of search would enlighten person perspective of reality.

It is true 2 Canadian were beheaded by muslim extremist on the southern part. I am from the north. I have lost count on how many friends, relatives and family members who enlisted and died fighting this extremist.

The good thing is ever since I migrated here. I have never been discriminated directly except for some minor incident. I hope it is stays that way.

The funny part is I got incident with a fellow Filipino, but it was immediately settled on the dark part of the parking lot. No worries, nothing serious happened except for bruise ego.

You see, I belong to an indigenous tribe in the highland part of the Philippines. We have been treated by our lowlander as ignorant, uneducated, filthy and to the point of comparing us to monkeys.

My point here is that, in every race there is someone who refuse to educate themselves on the reality of life. The end result is this stupidity.

As they say " A little learning is dangerous thing"

And the Japanese have the Burakumin.

Everybody likes to have someone to pick on and make them feel superior, Human Nature.

Nicest people on earth? Somehow I doubt that.
