Default Linde/Praxair Question

Anyone pick up a new cylinder of oxy or acetylene only to find it was low or empty? The oxy is supposed to filled to 2000 psi and lose approximately 4% per 20* C temp drop btw.

Possibly a bad valve that needs replacement.

Praxair bottles are bad for this. I've had a problem with Argon bottles and started requesting a better regulator. Perform a leak check with SNOOP or soapy water where the regulator valve stem threads into the bottle. I have found many leaks in that area.

Thanks. I work for a shop that's a depot and until recently empty bottles weren't an issue.
