I'd check out the BBQ Brethren forum if I were you. Emphasis on warranty, temperature control, etc.

FWIW, I've done the research, got a cheapie egg to see if I liked the concept (I do, and will be selling my cheapie soon). I'll be getting a Komado Joe. They have a lot of the "extra's" as standard equipment. There is a divided firebox so a bigger BBQ can be used on smaller cooks. The warranty is great, and the service is reputed to be great. This was critical as I've read some slightly less complimentary ones about some of the other high end eggs.
