I do, I wouldn't touch either unless they had full warranty bumper to bumper and I wouldn't buy one new because the first three years depreciation is about 70%. Outside of that, Tomatoe, Tomatoo.

Never been in the caddie but my parents have an MKX and it is awesome! Quite comfy reliable smooth and good on fuel. They haven’t had any issues with it except a windshield and a paint issue from a rock chip next to the windshield, hardly mechanical. I agree though don’t buy new, get a lease return. The depreciation is insane. My parents got theirs used and new The msrp was high 50s. 3 years later they got it for less than25000$.

Just curious as to why on earth you would want one of those two rather than a comparable Acura or Lexus?

Check out the parts cost on both vehicles. That will make up your mind. Windshields, brakes etc.

You can run on regular gas versus premium, one good reason, also they are good cars and warranty of 80,000kms is good

I have an Acura MDX, it runs on regular gas. My Infiniti however, takes premium. The engine in my Infiniti is far superior than that in my Acura.
I like the look of the Cadillac.

Basically either is just a more expensive Ford or Chevrolet, pretty much status symbols. If you want a quality reliable vehicle, with good resale, buy a Toyota or Honda.

That might be your problem with the MDX...regular is only recommended for short term use. Mine runs noticeably better on premium, as do all V-Tec engines

I'd go with the Cadillac. I'm a GM guy tho. Our next purchase will most likely be a Cadillac. One issue a friend had, was the Cadillac has certain certified repair facilities, while the Lincoln could be repaired at any ford repair facility. He went with the Lincoln for this reason.
