Default Deer hide

Any one interested in a whitetail buck hide. No holes. Hate to waste it, if you want it let me know. I’m in the Red Deer area.

Default Just A Thought!

Why not give it to your local taxidermist I am sure they can use it if no one wants it.

Is there any good uses for deer hides?

I felt that way about my mule deer. Seemed like a really
Nice pelt but I have no idea what to do with them.

Any problems with deer hides or gloves/clothes

If it is caped out properly and of decent size, a taxidermist may need it but, for the most part they will keep extra capes to replace the ones that hunters cut too short.
Unfortunately the value of a raw deer hide is almost zero.

Not trying to sell, just looking for someone who might be learning to tan or have a use for it.

Well then, in the future a cape properly skinned might be of more use to an amature taxidermist that is just starting out.
What iim getting at is a cape is much harder to find than a skin.

Shot where neck joins head. No good for mounting. Rest of hide will make good leather since no holes.
