Default Factory stock

Does anyone know where I could find a Remington 700 factory stock. Like one that's been taken off a factory gun.

Check out the buy&sell, or the EE on Gunnutz , there are usually a few listed. If none are listed ,put up a WTB ad.

Be sure to determine which stock you are after. There is different action lengths, different barrel channels and different designs. BDLs are shorter in LOP and have a wee bit too much drop for an optic for most people. The eye comes up to the irons. The CDLs have a recoil pad and less drop, the plastic ones are...plastic, the mountain ones are Bell and Carlson IIRC, the laminate ones are heavy but quite solid for target shooting etc. etc.

They show up regularly here, on Gunpost, Townpost and CGN. As previously stated, know exactly which model you need.
I have bought new takeoff lefties (much more rare) for $100 ish, and personally would not pay more than $150 for a prime model.

Call gunsmiths they usually have them gathering dust, and will let them go pretty cheap.
