Default Building Trad Arrows

Do we have any traditional archery guys that build their own arrows here? I might have some wild turkey wings to give away for arrow building. They are intact and frozen. Located in Strathcona County (Sherwood Park) send a PM if you are interested

At one time I made all my own arrows and have built footed shafts as well.
I could certainly use the turkey feathers as I need to refletch some if my Atlatl shafts and need full length feather for those!

Anyone who shoots an arrow should be interested in those feathers. The primary feathers from a wild turkey make the best fletching available. They’re NOTHING like a processed feather. They also outlast plastic fletching, provide more control, decrease the amount of weight on the wrong end of an arrow, etc, etc, etc.

For one example, these feathers had been in the rain for a couple of hours. Still standing proud and ready to do their job. Most of the blood has already been washed out of the one in the middle.

Last time I needed fletching this guy would take your right and left wings and give back your fletch of choice if he could keep the opposite wing.
