Default Snow on the N. Ram?

The Nordegg highway cam shows a ton of snow on the highway but then temps are supposed to be in the mid-teens for the rest of the week. I was planning an overnighter to the N. ram next thursday and Friday and i was wondering if anyone might have some insight into how the snow melt will affect the river and therefore the fishing by then.

keep an eye on the enviroment alberta river flow site. it will give you a good indication of what to expect. right now the flow has increased but not by that much. it is very low anyways for this time of year and looks like even with the rain and snow is still below average.
only good thing about snow is that it melts slower so therfore doesn't flash flood as bad as a heavy rain would. also it was pretty dry all in that area this year so a lot of it will be soaked up by the ground.
i think it should be okay by next weekend. flows will probably be down by then and good to go.
was there on sat. fishing was decent if you hit the pools at the right time of day. they were really active for about 2 hrs then died off after that. good mayfly hatch going on also (think the were blue wing olives, at least that is what they were most interested in). even my friend caught his first cuttie and a pretty niced sized one.

good luck
Mike
