Default What aiming device for poor eyesight

Dad can’t hit a sheet of paper at 15y with v sights. Old single shot Cooley dose t have dovetail grooves. So I might have to get a new gun also.
What are the options?
He will be happy and surprised if I can find something thank you

Open sights are difficult when our eyesight goes.... a peep site might help if you don’t want to us e a scope. A scope would be a world of difference though

Did your dad have an eye examination?

Years ago on one of the last outings with my dad he was missing like crazy with the shotgun. I asked him what going on and he said he was having trouble seeing the birds.
When we got home I mentioned it to mom and she made him an eye appointment. Turned out his dominant eye need to ya e a cataract removed. The next time we went out he was hitting everything he pointed his Winchester at.
