Grizzly is the biggest machine with a single jug.

I own a 2000 Honda Foreman 400 and it has 1,800 kms on it. I don't use it much but there are tell tail signs of wear; i.e. things you can't avoid or expect, when hunting.....There should be some scratches from vegetation but not sewn up with a coat hanger or binder wire.

Yes there will rub marks on the under-side but pull the battery and look into the box. A lot of guys will not clean in there and other tough to get to spots. This where you look for care. Anyone can polish the plastic.

Some hard core guys will buy a 2nd full set of plastics for their machine. They will drive the living crap out of it and bust everything.

When time to sell, they install the new plastic. When you pull up you look at it and think "what a score, it has been hardly used".

Like buying any vehicle/machine, ask for the service records.

Now if you are happy with your purchase; go through it with a fine tooth comb and replace all the fluids, plugs, cables if necessary etc so you are comfortable with it and it is a jump-off point...

Good luck,

Default Suzuki King Quad

Have over 9,800 kms on my 2014 King with only regular fluid changes and one torn CV boot. Been an unreal bike and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Rides very smooth and tight. Vibration would be minimal when I compare the father in-laws 500 can am, the can am has much more vibration.

I'll second that! Best machine for hunting.

It looks like the Grizzly is getting a lot of props. I might have to look at one of those.

Grizzly. Great machines. Use mine for herding cattle, fixing fence, checking crops, pushing snow, etc.

Only problems that I've had were a blown half shaft, and a set of seized brakes on the rear.

No idea, never had one. I got away from quads and into the SxS market a few years back. But it's a Suzuki, so from a reliability stand point it should be solid.

Probably the best jack of all trades quad. I’ve currently got a grizz 700 and zero issues. Good performance, good reliability, and a nice ride.

I have to agree, if I could only have one machine it would be a grizz 700 eps. Comfortable, powerful, and reliable, good for pullin moose or pullin wheelies (if you clutch them right), best all round ATV imo.

Owned Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda quads. Kawasakis are far too hard to work on, good quads but a real pain to fix. Had enough friends that owned Polaris that I was never dumb enough to buy one of them despite their low price. For a hunting quad I like the Honda and the great thing about my 400 Foreman is it will fit in the box of my truck with the canopy on it. For a sport quad I like the Yamahas.

I have an ‘09 grizzly 700 with about 8000 km’s on it. Bought it last year from a buddy at work. Who rode it a lot of easy miles and took excellent care of it. He did brakes and wheel bearing the fall before I bought it. Runs like a top still.
And fits in my 6’-6” box with the tailgate shut.
Great machine
