Fishing Ucluelet BC August 2008

I flew out to the coast and met my dad out at Ucluelet BC. We fished with my buddy Matt Stabler from Castaway Charters. We fished for Halibut, salmon and even got some dungenous crabs. The trip is to be my dad's very last fishing trip. He's not well and has been given a few more months left to live. He just wanted to get out one more time.

We had a fantastic day. We limited out on halibut. But only managed two salmon in the remainder of the day.
I was able to land this beauty. It was 30 lbs.

Here is my dad and I with a couple of the small haibut we caught there. These small ones are great eating. We call them chickens.

Those are memories that will last long after he has passed. Good on you. This year was my second trip taking my dad to the coast as a father son trip and those memories i will cherish forever. Thanks for sharing
