Lke Minnewanka has been fishing slow. The usual late August pre-spawn feeding binge is still to happen, but it could turn on any day now. Hopefully before the season closes after the Labour Day weekend.
Guys are catching a few, - mainly by trolling at 40+ ft with downriggers, or sitting on top of fish showing on the sonar, and jigging white or chatreuse jigs.
