Elk hunting 2013

Just wondering if anyone has heard and bugles yet this year

Starting to round up the ladies where I am at.Can hear them pretty good at times

Saw a massive bull elk today sitting in someones garden two blocks from downtown banff, whistled at him to get a picture on my iPhone but he didn't bother turning around. He allowed my to take a couple of back shots of him from behind! I'm really glad he didn't get upset this boy would have pushed a moose aside.

And yes indeed I'm sure he wasn't a moose ha! Tunnel mountain all the way.

Heard a couple bugles also got one on a trail cam bugling

...Yup the Boyz are letting the girls know its party time for them...of course the girls are simply just snickering and acting as per normal...lol


However there are still a lot of bulls together so its just all talk...lol

This full moon is helping. Had a dream last night of a massive Bull... Can't wait for this season to start.

Wont be too long until you hear them sounding off, I'm guessing second week of Sept, I would only cow call until then...here are a couple bulls that wandered into trail camera range. All polished up..accept the spikers, still sporting wall to wall carpet.
