If fishing from shore, head east on #534 out of Vulcan then east again on #531 heading to lomond can't miss the bridge. With a boat it's about 20 min. south on the lake, thats doing about 50mph,sometimes a pain in the ass if the wind is blowing.I have caught some nice one's down there,7-10lbs,I troll up and down the east side just outside the weed's about 10-15ft of water, that's on the north side of the bridge. The last few time's I've been there my 6 yr old daughter found what they were biting on,big blue & white spoons or red & white spoons, nothing fancy.Hope this help's as I am still learning the tricks of the trade too.
