There is always much talk about hunting packs.
MR being one of the most popular right now, Kifaru is up there, Eberlestock,...and on and on...
The Dragonfly is my main big game hunting pack and is well equipped to be used as a weekender or extended trip pack.
I am a bit of pack junkie myself and have had many. From dayhiing packs and day hunting packs, to expedition packs, weeklong packs and weekend packs, I have had may on my back.
Since this is the hunting forum, I thought I'd throw up the three acks that I use for all things hunting. If anyone is ineterested, I can throw up other packs that are used for camping, hiking and treking.
Firstly, you will find this thread stock full of bias for Eberelestock. I find all Eberlestock offerings to be top shelf. I amnot a big fan of all these camo designs these days, but do like a few. I loike having the option to not have camo, and usually choose non camo.
The first bag is an Eberelestock Dragonfly. I will list the specs and on and on and on as is it is much better listed on the Eberlestock website. So I will add 2 cents and throw up some pics. The Dragonfly is my main big game hunting pack and is well equipped to be used as a weekender or extended trip pack.
Firstly I chose the non camo, tactical style Dragonfly. This pack has a 4 litre hydration capacity (using the hydration storage) Large zippered external pockets, butterfly storage and zipper, molle attatchments, and excellent support for me. A nice rifle storage compartment (scabbard) and I also purchased a reversible raincover.
Here is that pack.
Nad here are two more packs for comparison that will also post pics of and throw 2 cents about them at the wind.
The Dragonfly on the left, Phanton Sniper on the right, Mini me in the middle.
Each has it's purpose.
