Not sure how many NBA fans are on the board.

Not a big NBA guy but he was a great in his sport. R.I.P. Think one of his daughters is to be a big deal in the WNBA, hope she carries on the legacy.

Ah that's awful. Way too young. Not that dying in a helicopter crash is ok for any age, but he was only 41.

Even if your not an NBA fan you probably knew who koby Bryant was, one of the all time greats, we just never know when our time is up, RIP bud.

He was my idol as a baller growing up. I would try to copy his moves, put them on repeat over and over. RIP Kobe. So sad to hear. One of the all time greats, and tons of charisma.

Default Kobe Bryant

Oh here we go again. Can't people deal with the facts at hand. Five people were reported to have died in the helicopter crash, including his daughter. They were on their way to a scheduled practise at one of his basketball academies.
RIP

Is travelling in a private helicopter really necessary?

He was a true baller. When he was with the lakers he wouldn’t drive to games in LA. He flew in his Sikorsky S-76 instead.

What are you talking about? He admitted to having sex with that 19 year old but disagreed and said it was consensual. This NBA hero cheated on his wife with a 19 year old girl and admitted to other times as well. July 18th 2003 he was formally charged. Look it up. Or I can read it to you if you like. #stompyourself

If I believed he was a rapist and general pos, and gave him a pass..... that would be not cool. I’m done here.

Absolutely tragic.

I couldn't even fathom opening a thread so I could sling some dirt on a guy who just died in a crash along side his daughter. What a pathetic existence

Don't be surprised at some on this site, it's embarrassing to be among them, but I stick around due to the fine other members and mods I all respect.

He did so much for others in LA ,helping schools, homeless in massive numbers, the list is to long to write very well respected by the top people all over the world as a fine human. But not here or any respect for the others that died also,Karma really ,you have to be drunk to say this, but there sober that's the crazy part.

His daughter who died was playing at one of his academics from what I hear.

Over an out.

One of his daughters also died in the crash...as well as a teammate of hers and the parent of the teammate.

I don’t care what anybody else thinks.. but I choose to say it’s a sad day in a bunch of people’s lives today...I respect that Kobe was the best at what he did, he also did help many many others as was mentioned earlier..
Go in Peace young man and daughter and whoever was inside that helicopter..
Makes me sad to think about these things..

Guys, a man and his daughter died. Can we please keep it classy. Some of the comments have been not cool. If you don't like him just move on.

What does Trump have to do with it?
I’m just sad for his kids. Sure he might have done a lot for charities and communities but he was a dog when it came to women. Far from classy..
