Edmonton Boat & Sportsmen's Show

I didn't realize this has snuck up on us already. I want to go...but I want to go fishing more. Their web site is pretty janky. I'm hoping someone that attends Thursday or Friday can post anything worth seeing or buying at the show. I did want to talk to Garmin's people, but I don't really need to travel five hours just to do that.

If i walk in there with todays crazy trade in values I will likely sign papers to buy a boat.

So im going up to cold lake for a few days. Should save me about 40k I figure.

I don't believe any of the sonar brands have dedicated booths at the show this year. I know that there will be Lowrance and Humminbird pro staff at the show, but not sure on Garmin.

Just think of all the gas money you are going to spend driving all the way to Cold Lake...

Ack! Well, I'm more curious if Radioworld or anyone else is there offering deals on Garmin, as is normally the case.

I am wondering same thing about trade in values on boats, are they up like trucks? I bought my 2021chev 3500 last year and has 40k on it and took it in for oil change and salesman is like he we will give you what you paid for it . I was stunned. Might think of trading in new pontoon boat for a 20ft lund or something as long as they give me good trade value. Anyway going to check it out tomorrow wth.

Yes trade in values are just as crazy as new pricing. Theres nothing to be gained as a new one will be inflated and you may have to wait a year to get it.

Haha yes the big question is inventory. Dont want to wait a year without a boat.

I'll be there tomorrow, aside from a 2 hour board meeting call I have to be on from 4-6 pm. I can show you a 20 foot Princecraft and a 20 foot Lund if you come by. Both in stock.

I'll be there this weekend with Free Spirit Marine and Powersports. We have some boats in stock as well but many sales have already happened before the show.

Going to be a weird year not being there with the fishing vendors.
