I converted my Helix 7 to be able to use it for ice fishing. Cradle, ice transducer, etc. Been able to use it on one trip and activated ice fishing mode in the settings. Wondering what settings guys are using, mines a 1st generation Helix?
My issue so far is my depth bounces around. Showing true bottom depth then all of a sudden shows 60-80FOW.
What settings do guys recommend to get this thing dialled in.
the helix 7 first gen i have i use it in the boat then in winter for ice fishing . we use it in ice fishing mod with an ice transducer . works great can see my wire worm on the screen so i know where it is in relation to the fish that come in that you see on the screen . gets exciting when you see a fish come in and up to your hook. fish on .
