Default Recycling Old Reloading components

I did a search of recycling reloading components and I did not find anything on the site.

Can you recycle old brass / spent primers / and really old powder? Is there anything that you need to specifically do?

Do you have to take it to the fire department or do most recycling centers have a place for this stuff?

Old brass can be sold by the pound at a scrap yard.
Primers can go there too, but probably won't be worth money.

Spread the old powder on your lawn or garden.
Throw the rest in the garbage

Old powder? How old, do you know it's bad?
I'm loading Winchester powders from the 80s.

From what I've seen, some powder will degrade to the point of showing red colours on a glass, looks like a rusty powder deposit, and some will get stinky, won't smell right, even kinda nasty. Just discovered I may have an issue with powder degradation in some old ammo I loaded in 1993, a couple of days ago. Bolt got stiff lift happening on it. That ammo had been out hunting a few times over the years, temp changes may have affected it over time. Time to get rid of those I guess, only about 30 of them left out of 100. I was contemplating trying something different anyway, same bullet, different, newer, more temp stable powder maybe.
