Default Spring lake

There was talk at the end of last season about changing the regs on spring lake, banning bait, no ice fishing, reducing catch limit, anyone know if any of these proposals came to fruition

The regs don't appear to reflect it. Should be good to ice fish!

I don’t ice fish, just hoping they were going to give it the same status as Muir, fished there regular for the last 4 years and last year was by far my worst season with regard to size and numbers of trout caught

Yeah it’s been going down hill for a while. When the lake had perch, I also found to catch bigger fish as well. But now that it died off and there are just rainbows, I haven’t bothered after a few times just because it’s been going down hill. Im not sure though, I may give it a try this year.

Well, as long as you guys believe that Spring has gone downhill that gives more room for those who know otherwise!
