Default Pinehurst Ice

Headed to pinehurst Sunday to fill some tags, wondering what the ice thickness is? Good for half ton truck I am assuming by now but want to make sure I don’t need to bring the sled along.

Thanks guys

Check the ice thickness post. I left a report for Pinehurst two days ago.

7” of ice 50 feet off shore. Only about 5” 500 yards off shore. Definitely wouldn’t be taking a truck out yet. We walked on. Fishing was slow from 6-40 feet of water off the drop offs. Best bite was 430-5pm where we landed 3 small eyes.

I would wait another couple of weeks before driving on Pinehurst. Been too warm almost every where for good thick ice. Most lakes are gonna need another week or two of cold temps this year before driving on.

Was no problem last year at this time.
