Default Rattle and cow call?

Would it be pointless to rattle and cow call from the stand during the same sit?

I think he means rattle for deer but ALSO call for moose, too. I have no idea but my instincts say no. I'd think the moose calling may scare off a whitetail but unlikely if the rattling will scare a lonesome moose, in fact they might even mistake it for a bull raking a tree?

When in doubt, don't make any noise.

In my experiences, whitetails don't much like hanging around moose. So I would pick one or the other.
