Has anyone heard if and when they plan on sentencing the truck driver?

I agree - the owner of the company should have been investigated.

He was likely putting a great deal of pressure on the driver to extend his hours/miles/make time. Probably the root cause of the entire disaster.

The driver stated he was distracted by a tarp flapping on one of his trailers, never saw the stop sign. If that's true then the driver is 100% to blame. Supposed to be a professional. Sentence was too light.
