Default Rossi 22 mag pump

Anybody use a Rossi in 22 Mag pump with a tubular magazine. The one i've used doesn't seem to group inside of a pie plate at 100 yards. Can't mount a scope on it as it has no pre-drilled scope mount holes. Also, experience with it is that it can't be babied when clearing the chamber and reloading another round. Any thoughts would help...

I use a regular .22 S,L,LR rossi pump and it feeds well with most ammo . Mine is quite accurate . Is the screw tight , screwdriver tight ? maybe the sight is loose? Mine has seen Alot of use and still kills a lot of critters . I am looking at a 22mag rossi with a scope on it . It can be mounted to the side with one mount but I haven't shot the mag yet

Yeah my GF bought a Rossi Pump .22 ( not a Mag ) i was a little on the fence about it, she boguht it used. But now wow its alotta fun to shoot takes short, long and long rifle. The 22 long sounds like your shooting a pellet gun. Makes me think that a .22 mag be fun too scope is a pain to side mount i guess but other then that the model is nice. Another nice thing about it is you can load it and half cock the hammer to a safe position

Default Rossi 22 mag

Some good points, and maybe I'll have a gunsmith look at it... It does have some decent features, as mentioned.
