very little rain here since the snow went, way to dry. Fire bans and creeks dropping in may makes for a long crappy summer.

Light showers today....dust on the roads by 7:30 pm, no surface water, river levels dropping, fire bans still on.

Need a good soaker.

June 6th. Had to drain ice out of the garden hose so I could continue watering trees/lawn.

In Bodo it is 20 daytime 18 night time. sunny every day and just enough breeze to keep the mosquitos off. It usually rains for an hour or so during the night if we need it.

The alfalfa is lush and green. The livestock are fat as ticks. The barn cats are feeling so good they gave one of the dogs a bath and a rubdown yesterday.

"Yes Dear" has been in a good mood going on 11 hours now

Life is good, and as long as they keep making Forty Creek it will stay that way.

The thing about only being allowed to have crayons is that you get to color life whatever color you want it.
