Default old CCI primers

Hi Folks, an older neighbour of mine is moving away and gave my a pile of his reloading stuff. Pretty sweet haul in general. There are a bunch of old CCI 200 primers. Will these suckers expire?? I currently use CCI 200's in all my loads and if i can use the 1000 that he gave me I certainly will. These primers are probably from the late 70's to early 80's...

Good to go? Or hell no?

Default Old primers

Try a half dozen or so,Random choices.Load in empty bullets, and see how they sound in comparison to "fresh" primers. It not so much the age,but how they were stored.Good luck.

Default Old primers

I stocked up with CCI BR-2 25 years ago. They still work perfectly.
