If you followed what a bandwagon fan was the flames should not have any left after what we have seen this season and last. Same with edmonton.

As per myself. Calgary was the first large city in canada I lived in. Before 2003. I did not see a whole lot of hockey while growing up in Australia. Never mind hockey not being a big thing in my house. Until I moved to Calgary(2001).

How about all you haters ? So bitter that flames had a cup run you have to label every fan as a bandwagon.... get over it. From now on any city that gets excited that its sports team is in a championship is all full of bandwagoners...

Arguing on the internet seems as great as competing in the special Olympics, even if you win.... your still retarded

Ok, ive had enough dealing with this troll.....

i was on board with your post until the last line man....

BrownBear,
Your team goes on a winning streak (1 game is a streak for the Shames)and you start babbling. You might have to eat your words.

Shootout is a stupid way to decide a game.

Well, we do agree on that.

I don't agree with getting one point if you lose in overtime either.

I dunno, I sort of like it. It's exciting. Certainly better than the old way where it was simply called a tie after the overtime. That sucked. I like unlimited overtime like in the playoffs, but you just can't do that in the regular season.

One thing I do dislike is the point assigned for losing in the shootout. To me you either win the game or lose. There should be no rewarding losing, even if it was in the shootout.

I agree Ok, theoretically you could lose every game and still play .500 hockey.

i like the shoot out...but i think overtime should be longer before you go to a shoot out. i also agree with no point for the shootout....

Am i the only one using this thread anymore.

Well that is 5 straight on the road for my Flames

Another 5 point night for juice
Another 4 point for Iggy.

If Kippy would let in a few less goals again...I would sleep like a baby.

I was sitting here listening to the game on the net on the Fan 960. Sounded like a pretty solid game. Iginla and Huselius are on an absolute tear of late. Combine that with another SO win for the Oilers last night and the Alberta teams are rolling along. Good to see.

BB.
Nope, still here, just busy with Life.

Flames are looking good these days. 13 out of 14 points in the last 7.
Ed is also looking better. But these shootout wins will not last the season. They have to learn to win other ways. I think if it wasent for the Shootouts they would only have 4 wins on the season.

Long season still in front of us.

Who had the bet with 700? Where did 700 go?
What was the bet?

Jamie

WOW.
Calgary is on FIRE!!
I love that record we tied tonight.
Only the 4th team in NHL history to win 6 Games in a row on the same road trip. I guess not something you put up a banner for, but MAN did it come at a good time.

Now lets win 6 in a row at home and see what happens to the standings!!

They sure needed to get on a run, and back into the playoff picture again. Good to see!

Clash, no doubt! I think that most Oilers fans hate the stars waaayyyyyy more these days than those who hate the Flames (good show boys btw)! I've always been a huge Modano fan, but, man..........
