Default Next Batch off to sale

Finally got done the last bunch of coyotes. I got 5 more coyotes and 3 more fox in the freezer that I am getting tanned for some people that wanted to buy some.
Got 67 muskrats in the box, 1 weasel, 20 coyotes , 3 fox and 5 beaver in the pic.
Hitting the rats hard if the weather stays warm here soon.

Smile You say you sell some?

How does that work? I have a friend in LA who says he wants to make a hat ( I have him down from a blanket), can these be mailed to the US?

I have a ready supply still on the hoof, as it were, but know nothing about skinning etc.

Shoot me a pm please.

Total for the year is
73 coyotes
7 fox
4 weasel
11 beaver
289 muskrat

Have a good feeling I can hit another 300 rats before the end of April as well. Starting up again this week now that it is warmed up.

Densa44 as far as I know if you tan the hides you can sell them. My friends will be coming up to Alberta this year and I don't see a problem with them taking them home if they are tanned. If there is something wrong with that then please let me know but I had always thought that is what was allowed

We pulled our wolf snares today and ended up with a very nice wolf and a real good coyote to make next sale. Done for the year.

Lol nube,so what does it take for an arsonale of traps to trap 300rats in short order here this spring.i really hope you getter done I'll be cheerin you on.im Gunna get after em as well but not on the lever your talkin.we had a couple really bad winters in the last 5 years with no snow for insulation on the ice down south of brooks and it litteratly froze out 90% of our rats in a few areas on shallow sloughes.so I'm headin north a little ways I found some good stuff on a couple scouting days tryin to get ready

I actually think I can do better than 300 but my goal is 300. Maybe I am crazy lol
I have one lake that has 60+ houses on it. I plan on hitting that one this week. Some days I can do double checks and hope I can do 30-40 a day for about 4-5 days. We will have to see how many are there and how active the catches are. I also have 3 other good sized lakes with permission that should produce real well and I have another bunch of small ponds to hit as well. It will depend on how hard I want to work and how much the ice stays froze.

Very nice. I see it didn't take to long to get a fox stretcher. I had caught a couple red tinged phased coyotes that I really thought about getting tanned. Got lazy an shipped with the rest.

Great catch.

Just wondering..."But can you skin grizz, pilgrim?"

'Bearclaw' Chris Lapp asked Jeremiah Johnson this question..
