Default Cutthroats

Last Saturday took a new to Alberta friend and an old friend down to the South Ram and North Ram drainages. Left the chuck at 0600 and got back at midnight. Fishing was slow, yet everyone caught trout. This was my new friends first time fishing cutthroats and he is hooked. Great day, great conversation decent weather and wonderful people made the day even better than great.

Fishing for cutthroat with bighorns above you knocking rocks down in the pools is awesome. Just don't take a rock to the noggin.

Fall fishing is the best!

Brings back memories. It is a fragile fishery. Care and respect is due, and hopefully your friend has come away with an appreciation of the resource.

The drive, the scenery, the conversation, the walk and the fresh air make the trip....the fish are a bonus.
