Default trapline

Nube, trapline 1310 was for sale a year or so back for asking price of $125K, 1381 was asking $110K. The value of a line is how much spruce and pine timber still not cut. Lots of evergreen, lots of squirrels, lots of marten and fisher. These days every trapline in Alberta has been logged, if you have half of the townships with trees it is still a good line.
You will need to fill your pick-up and drive every road on the line to scout it out properly, the snow is still to deep for a quad.

I would think that area has a lot of lynx as well. Sounds like there is still decent fur there for Fisher , Marten and Beaver. And I bet there are weasels lol

Geez!!! And I was a made out to be a villain for selling mine for 10K.

And the only reason I accepted any money was to make the new line holder, an old friend, happy.

And, , , , the main reason I let him have the line is cause I knew he would trap it. I really wanted nothing for the line.

Dang!!! I could be driving a brand new truck, have a new boat in the driveway, and a new quad in the shed.

I don't like what is happening in the trapping profession.

Default trapline

Nube, forgot to add if you have lots of rabbits will have lynx, coyote and fox. Also if lots of deer, elk and moose lots of wolves. Bottom line is if you have a forest you will have animals.
