Uh Bob, you're going to need to upload those pictures to a host service like Photobucket. We can't see anything stored on your computer.

I too am coming into a .303 Enfield later this week and have been looking into what type of mount, rings that will work. Looks to me that Chief & ECCaper chose the B-square mounts... Am I correct?

I also found on-line a Cad Technik & ATI scope mounts. Do you guys have a preference between B-square, Cad T or ATI?

My pick should be up in a week or so.

LOL... yeah. i fired 10 rounds yesterday. awful kick to this rifle to begin with. however, the only time i was aware of an extra bump was when i was standing up with no support. line of sight is pretty well positioned. i shoot left handed and am left eye dominant so things work out well for me.

Get the comb raised, or replace the stock with a Ram Line one that has a cheek piece, and higher comb, you'll find things a lot better.

WSS and P&D, SIR all carry the Ram Line stocks.

Aftermarket cheek pieces are out there, some made of leather others of neoprene, just shop around, supply is on again off again, but hey ,what aint nowadays as far as gun stuff goes..

You could also do like they did for the #4 T's and add a wooden piece to raise the comb, IMO, it sure don't look all that pretty.

Is there no way to get a lower mounting on the scope?

None that I have seen or been told. The work around from having a high scope is getting a monte carlo type stock or adding a cheek rise to the stock you have. Works for me.

Default scope mounting 303

there is a interesting video of a guy mounting a scope on a enfield on you tube. I just bought on myself a few months ago. It is already drilled and tapped for a scope just gotta get the gear for it. I am more interested in hearing from people that use the iron sights with success.

Wow, Enfield? A rifle with a face that only it's Mother could love! Sorry guys, not the prettiest guns in the world. Don't want to sound like a snob. I know they go bang and I'd get my kicks out of 'em just the same as any other... just sayin'....

I put one of these on a beat up #4 and it was a damned sight better than the SK mount that I tossed.

Hey after12 beer... The iron sights were not that difficult to get used to with the enfields. What I found that took the most time was the two stage trigger / creep they have. Takes a few rounds to get used to. Once you get used to it, all is good.

Where did you get the camo stock? Looks good! I have a really old Enfield from my Dad. Saw on a TV show awhile ago, that the Lee Enfield ranked 3rd in the top 10 battle field rifles in history, only behind the AK 47, and the AR 15 (Not sure on that one)!!

You were asking about the sythetic stock for my enfield rifle... ATI was the company that makes them but I picked mine up from Marstar Canada. Black was ~$99, Camo ~$129.

Found the link for you.

Default ICKY T01s

Alright, enough with the destructive screw on T01s. YUCK!!! For the most part they weaken the reciever/action cause you have to drill n tap. I put an ATI on my #1 and have no troubles except its not low enough to use the IS. Take a look.
