Default Rem700 picatinny rail

Hey guys I can't seem to find the torque specs to mount a talley rail. I'm finding different answers between 15 to 65 inch pounds any help would be greatly appreciated

IIRC, spec for 6x48 screw is 15 inch/lbs. I am afraid to go over ~18, I doubt you would get to 65 before failure.
Some suggest blue Locktite, but Locktite spec for this size screw is purple.
I submit that all rails should be carefully trued & bedded, I use JB Weld & Kiwi on receiver for release.
Just lightly snug the screws after truing for level, then Locktite & torque next day.

Good Luck, YMMV
