Default Kids and guns

Is is unlawful for childeren shoot/fire a .22 under the supervision of an adult? Or be in the presence of such actions?

Basically, the adult holds the weapon, and they pull the trigger?

No, of course not, my kids have been shooting since they were four. Key words are direct supervision within arms reach.

Start them young.
Nothing better than a four year old 22'n old pumpkins turnips or other soft veges. Balloons are great learning tools.
Nothing better than my grankid coming over asking to go shoot his 22.
We discuss rules n stuff and gramma gives him the riot act if does something bad.
They need to fully understand it's not a toy. And to be one-on- one with tutor
