Default Barrel replacement

I'm looking to put a custom light barrel on my vanguard I've been looking at proof research carbon barrels, what would you guys have any other options for lighter barrels? Already installed new trigger and medalist stock. I should mention barrel length I want is 24" chambered in 7mm rem or wby

The proof research barrels are a large diameter barrel and may not fit into the stocks barrel channel. There may not be enough material in the stock to accommodate the larger barrel

I think Corlanes and Real precision shooting in Spruce grove carry Proof carbon fibre. Insite uses the button carbon fibre ones.

I think Hardy also makes carbon wrapped barrels. I have a Hardy barrel on a M700, and it shoots great.

A vanguard action is a bit chunky and wouldn't be my choice for rebarreling with a contour lighter than the standard sporter contour from the factory. Something to think about.
