Already did 2 Ins claims for pieces of equipment that went in a dugout.

Pretty risky to be taking a shack out. Hope the people got out of the water ok.

Two 3/4 tonne diesels on North buck last weekend, some spots were less than 6” with some nasty floodwater. And one even had a sled on the sled deck.

People will continue to push their luck. It’s no different than everyone shredding me for walking on 2” of ice in the early season to get after some fish. Stay safe everyone.

Yup looked out on the river yesterday and see where someone on a sled was ripping around and then there is a large wet area, lots of foot prints and no sled so it either sunk or they got it out..........our slews are good to go for a quad but a river......ahhh I would wait for a longer real cold snap.....

We had a Hagglund. unreal machine. but we got it stuck once. only once. the only way to get it out was another Hagglund that we had to hire.

4500.00 bill and 2 days later.

We sold the Hagglund!! lol

Ouch! People think I’m a wimp for taking it easy on ice. I see pictures like this every year and am thankful I am cautious! I know what the recommendations are but I orefer to at least double them for walking $ sledding. I NEVER take a truck out on ice.

That will freeze in overnight and be one serious chunk of ugly work to get out. It's going to take a slough of equipment to get the job done.

(actually slew but though I would give the grammar police something to do)
