I’m having sleep issues as well. I tried a high CBD strain called Temple and smoked a whole bowl after supper. I had the best sleep in a long time. I was averaging 3-5’ish hrs a night.
I dunno if it will be a total help with insomnia but it might. Make an appointment with The Herb Clinic to get more education.
I go in today and its free of charge with Alberta Health card.

Well, I was fortunate enough to receive a Christmas bonus and after paying the credit cards off, I had a little left over so I ordered some Rex Crumble, Stellio and Eran Almog. Never tried the Rex and Eran before.

I use to smoke weed when I was a young buck but cannot anymore, makes me paranoid and anxious no matter what strain, just too old I guess. Wish I could smoke as I am a medical marijuana grower, have to get others to do my smoking for me . Anything to do with growing, from auto flowering to giant trees, indoor or outdoor, let me know if you need any pointers, you can PM me. Will post some impressive pics when I figure out how or can email them.

Even a”high” CBD?
I smoke it, use the oil as a topical and get zero high effects. Just pain relief.

As for growing. I might take some advice off you as I wouldn’t mind trying my own high CBD strain.

Fire OG is the best strain I have ever had in my life. I've never enjoyed feeling normal so much before. It is a genuine sacred herb.

Whitewidow original. 1600w in a 4x6 area light for 24/7 . That's 2 plants in the picture. I kept 1 as a mother and she is a monster.

Maybe 8 days into flower. It's looking like a bumper crop

Haha, last time I did "shrooms" was a Dwight Yoakam concert at Cravin Valley jamboree early 90's.

As for strains I've been restricting them to Indica's in the 5-15% category.
Primarily for medicinal purposes with prescricption with a high CBD or balance THC.
Never slept better!

Trophybook, Nice looking gals!

Talking Mail order arrived- Rockstar

Got my prescription in so tonight will be a nice relaxed and pain free night.
This will be a bonus addition to end a busy work week.

Rockstar, a cross between Rockbud and Sensi Star, is a potent indica-dominant hybrid that delivers strong effects without debilitating sedation. With aromatic notes of spice and grape, Rockstar is a favorite medicine for headaches, pain, and sleep disorders. Its powerful body and cerebral effects make Rockstar popular among growers, who typically harvest their outdoor plants in mid-October. For those who prefer indoor gardens, Rockstar grows best using the “sea of green” method with a 56 to 63 day flowering time.

Hope everyone has an good & satisfying weekend.

Happy 420. Shouldn't just celebrate one day...should be celebrated weekly.

On a side note a new feature film is being released this week in Edmonton.
Hot Box is about the 1970's and was filmed entirely in Edmonton. Mostly in a car.
The movie title has pot leaves so I think I can imagine what the movie is about.

Their even easier to just go pick. Alberta has 2 or 3 kinds of g00d mushrooms.

Laughing Gym and dung loving Psilocybe are the two I know of and quite common.

How’s everyone’s crops doing? Here in north eastern Alberta it’s going down to -3 for the next week and says day time highs of 6. How cold hardy do you think these plants that been outside all summer are? I got mine covered with a plastic bag for a queen sized mattress . So far so good but the buds on the plants are just getting going and need probably a couple weeks. Next time I ever try this it will be with auto-flowering seeds for outdoors.

Nice plant! I’m certainly no weed scientist but I do know indica dominant strains can take the cold weather better. A good friend of mine still has his outside and it’s continued to grow. My friends plants have pretty much been under a street light all season so he had to cover them up in order to induce flowering. It’s funny that the city pretty much paid the power bill to grow his monster plants
