Default 30-06 powder

well i got enough brass now to start reloafing. i have a browning BAR in 30-06 if u have that gun more info would be great. if not, what powder do u use when reloading. from what i have gathered 4831 seems to be populare

4350,4064,4895, Varget, RL19.

FWIW the 4831 is a tad on the slow side, but still useable.

4350 never been wrong when it comes to the 06 IMHO

Myself, I shoot a bolt action '06 and use mostly IMR 4350, but have also used IMR 4895. I read somewhere that IMR 4895 was pretty much developed for use in auto-loading rifles in 30-06, the garand. Something about it lent itself to the application moreso than the slower burning stuff. Those fellas have been making good accounts of themselves using it in the long range service rifle competitions for many years. Also some people like H 4350 SC.

All you need is IMR 4350....This is one of the top powders for the good old 30-06...

X5 on the IMR 4350, if you like ball then H414 or W760 behind a 180g. Tough to beat as an allrounder.

I use H4350 or AA2520 with 168gr. TSX
