I spend a lot of time hunting in grizzly country and really like the added confidence the 375 gives me in the thick stuff,,, and yes I really do like big boomers!
My wife shot her moose with a .375H&H @2550fps with a 300gr. Sierra at ~ 60yds he went ~20 yds. into the brush and the bullet never exited. His insides were like watery jelly. I used a 30-06 firing a 190gr. Hornady bullet @ 2840fps double lunger as well, he went down at the shot then staggered back up despite both front shoulders being hit and went ~150 yds down into the keg . That is when I bought my 9.3x62.

Nice...almost too pretty for the woods

Back in the day I tamed a 7lb ouch-and-ouch with mag-na-porting, a mercury stock piston, and a decelerate pad...could shoot it half a day... I went to a 9.3 x 62 that I can shoot all day
I enjoy my Ruger #1 375 H&H but not so much on the bench.
Old 2x7 Bausch & Lomb sits on top. Seems to be the perfect scope for me with prairie elk and Camp Wainwright moose.
270 original Barnes X for hunts and 270 hornady spires for the range.
