Default My S&W M&P 2.0 came today!!!

Can I go to the range right away? Or do I have to wait for another RPAL with the appropriate conditions to come in the mail? Do I have to initate this if I bought it out of province? If I bought it from a local dealer he said everything would be done for me including an "Alternate storage location" but I saved a pile of money and got it out of Ontario. The gun dealer(Bullseye) I bought it from did not know anything about the "Alternate storage location" thing and I would have to do that myself, which I have initiated with the Alberta CFO.

You normally get two letters. For lack of a better way to put it, one is to possess, the other is to transport and must stay with the firearm

Once you get the registration for the rifle you can go to the range. No need for an ATT to go to the range anymore as it’s electronic.

Ok, I haven't got any letters yet. The alternate storage form has a spot for the certificate number for the gun but the only number that came with the gun is an expired certificate number. Hurry up and wait I guess!

If you’re worried call in and get the answer. Typically new Pals should have att electronically attached, but if it’s your first one maybe not.

I already called once today about the alternate address and was trying to get enlightened from those who know without bothering them too much. I just thought it seems funny that the gun would come that quick before the paperwork so you can use it.
