Default tikka t3 with a bell and carlson stock

Has anyone tried these out? Is there much weight difference. Is there much gain over the factory stock other than a proper recoil pad? I'm looking at a new boom stick for an all around rig from the mountains to whitetail woods. I don't shoot or gun hunt much anymore so I'm sort of out of the loop.
Guns I have looked at are the browning xbolt, tikka, sako A7 or remington mountain ss. I keep coming back to tikka for cost and weight.

I just put one on my stainless fluted .270 win. It is head and tails above the factory. The recoil pad is way better, it's solid right through, and the recoil block is actually part of the stock and not just a little chunk of aluminum that can fall out. Best 350$ I've spent. Prophet river usually has them in stock.

I am considering one also. Have had the original t3 and stock for 10 years and its been fine. Time for a bit of an upgrade and might get some powder coating too.

Mine went into corlanes. Having some powder coating done as well. See how it turns out, seems like a great upgrade.

Does any one know if B&C make a left handed stock to fit a tikka T 3 Varmint left hand? That is what my 6.5-284 was built off of and would really like to put a better stock on it.
