They waited longer than you... so such is life. The years they did not pull a draw they stepped aside and let someone else go ahead. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeh I went to purchase on Alberta Relm as soon as I saw the draw results and it said something along the line of "purchase not available". Guess I'll wait for a bit and see. Thanks for the response.

I believe that you can’t buy your tags until August first at least.

Thought for sure the wife was getting her cow moose this year , I mean it’s a 90% chance on priority 3, and 100% on priority 4 . I feel She got screwed lol bad luck I guess ... the old man got it on 3 , I got it on 3, uncle got it on 3 . Guess I’ll have to focus on the elk this year

Exactly. You want the tag put in the time. If you think albertas draw is a mess ours over here in sask is a joke. We waited 19 and 21 years for bull elk tags at home here.

Nothing for me, but I had no priority, so no surprise. My buddy got an antlered moose in Cooking Blackfoot, so should be interesting exploring there.

Also, if you go to Alberta Realm, then to draw summaries, then current season, then pick your animal, it will show you exactly how many people did put in for priority only.
Everything you're asking for is already there, no petition needed

Exactly. Just scroll to the bottom of the list (species/gender) and it provides all the priority only numbers.

My brother was a Priority 7 deer for Wainwright first hunt and never got drawn, I got drawn first hunt as a 7 a year ago, so I was pretty annoyed that he never got it. We drew either sex elk and bull moose on a priority 10, so we were kinda choked as it woulda been nice to have all the tags.

8-9 minimum now... look at last years results to figure it out, Zero P7 drew first rifle last year... shouldn’t be annoyed, just wasn’t enough to draw.

If you are looking for a scouting partner for zone 999 I’m game. Still working on building priority points. Hopefully make it out for open elk 3 point or better in zone 360 this year. I’ve got a buddy whose mother has 16 quarters all in a block that the elk are in all the time. I had a cow draw tag last year but never made it up due to a illness in the family. Family comes first top priority!

Five years waiting for an Antlered Elk ... got it this year. Four years wait for the antlered muley and it came through as well. I would have preferred the draws in different years.
