Sounds to me like he has an issue with the reamer not the cartridge itself.
Not that it matters, a guy can find detractors when it comes to anything, be it Savages, Remingtons, 300 mags, 308 Winchesters, or certain trucks for that matter , and EVER ONE OF THEM ill claim they are correct and whatever they are running down is inferior to what they are bragging up, selling, promoting, whatever.....

He seems to be basing most everything off of experiences from 8 years ago before the industry even really new what this cartridge was. Maybe that changed plater in the video but I couldn’t make it through.

The cartridge designer does not control the tooling makers or the rifle manufacturers. I have worked with two rifles in 6.5CM lately, and the chamber, throat, and magazine dimensions vary considerably. Contrary to the nonsense that the person that keeps posting the annoying cartridge drawings continues to spout, the manufacturers do not all observe the SAAMI specifications. In my own rifle, I am able to seat bullets to the lands, and they still fit the magazine, but in the other rifle, loading to fit the magazine results in a jump to the lands of .100", with the same bullet. In the case of one rifle, the supposed advantage of being able to load long bullets to fit the magazine , and still have them close to the magazine, just isn't possible. But that is not the fault of the cartridge designer, but rather the result of the rifle manufacturer choosing their own throat length.

I saw this a while back, and took it with a grain of salt or 2 !! Bought a T3X S/S lite from Pud and it shoots bug hole and easy to clean-up??? Think they (Beretta) has is figured out.. Will continue to use it and my son !! 143 eld-x and H4350 match made in heaven !! JMO. everyone has some comment good/or bad of every gun-smith >>Nut out there.. !! use common sense and try real gun basic's !! We have a variety of components to work with and the quality of our reloads says who we are ??? Factory stuff is Soooo!! good nowadays !!

Agree completely. I have seen a few of his other videos. This guy is an opinionated, pontificating, uninformed, blowhard that thinks he is the only one that knows anything about guns or long distance shooting.

The internet has resulted in the proliferation of these kinds of idiots because the soap box is so easy to get on.

Bit hard to listen to his style of talking, probably old news as well. Gather he didn't look at a drawing of the reamer before ordering. Watched the one on bullets as well, bit of truth and a bit of opinion and a bit of getting things off his chest, I guess.

He worked for Speer inc and Burris optics as the head of the tool and die / machinist departments ...... Doesn't know a thing about cartridges .........

He worked for Speer for a year and a half back in the 70s when he was in his twenties and then 2 years with Burris scopes after that. Both jobs he built machines for production. He was not in bullet design, nor was he in a senior role or in product development. On top of that it was almost 40 years ago, a few things have changed in that time.

My guess is the guy butchered someone’s rifle, got a good Ass chewing because of it, now he’s looking for someone to blame. I’m sure he was “let go” from both Speer and Burris and it’s not hard to see why.
