Exclamation bow and migratory birds

my question is can you shoot a goose or duck with a bow or is it illegal because it is a single projectile?

yes, legal.. Alberta Bow hunters Assoc. and Southern Alberta Bowhunters Assoc. require the taking of ducks and geese as part of awards programs .Don't think they'd steer us wrong .

That law concerns rifles and shotguns, not bows.

I am pretty sure it's legal to shoot a goose with a bow, not the x-bow though. I guess the same applies to ducks?

It'd be nice if someone could quote reliable source.

Can't find last years regs , but on page 60 of 2010 regs it refers to "game birds [ both migratory and upland } and that they can be hunted with bow and arrow in addition to proper licences including a bow permit .Crossbows are not allowed as already stated by h&t ..

If I am not mistaken you are not allowed to groundshoot migratory birds, and is it legal to fire an arrow at a flying bird? I am not sure this is a legit question.

There is nothing illegal about ground swatting birds, actually , as long as you use a legal weapon to do so.
You can shoot them on the water , sitting in a field with a legal gun or bow and arrow.

Ground shooting to some forks is unethical and unsporting....but not illegal.
