Default Repairing Zeiss Rifle Scope

Does anyone have any experience with getting repairs done on a Zeiss rifle scope. I have a pretty old Zeiss scope that has acquired a good scratch on the ocular lense. Just wondering if anyone has sent one in and how they did it. Any advice or help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same deal. I have a late 80s Zeiss with a scratch on the lens that's been there since I bought it second hand. Scope works great as is.

Would Zeiss repair this free of charge?

Default Ziess Warranty

Several years back I purchased a Ziess Dangerous game riflescope to put on my .375 H&H, for an upcoming Brown bear hunt. While practising, one of the crosshairs broke. I took it back to the local Sporting Goods Retailer I purchased it from. He sent it in for repair. It was getting very close to my departure date and I had not recieved it back so the Retailer contacted Ziess. They confirmed they could not get it back to me in time and therefore told the Retailer to give me a new one and a box of shells! Long story but that's what I call Service. Not only is it an outstanding product but the service is superb. As a result I only use Ziess.
