Cash through the mail is never a good idea.

You wouldn't. That's why I mused that perhaps there was some private discussion that took place which would make you take the position you have. I cannot see anything in this thread that would make me think anything unsportsmanlike or underhanded has taken place. I was simply curious as to why your undergarments seem to be disheveled.

A simple PM expressing your dissatisfaction along with the necessary information to reimburse your losses would have been far a more mature and gentlemanly approach.
I hope to receive a PM directly so I can cover the losses incurred by you through the loss of cash in the mail.

That would be offer number two to competely rectify this situation...Be nice to see someone man up and accept it and stop pouting.

I'd also like to add that Gitrdun is currently in the sin bin, but I assure everyone that I have zero doubt he forwarded the cash that was sent through the mail to myself. He has offered to cover the loss and add to the winnings in the match.
He is without a stand up guy, and that's why I asked to use his PO box.
Lets get out shooting everyone, there's enough drama here some days to make a soap opera look inane.

How do we get form this to it got lost in the mail? Whether I sent cash or not doesn’t matter the envelope was sent registered mail. Last time I checked it doesn’t take 13 days for that to get to where it’s going. The pointed comments on this thread that have been made towards me from the start are there for everyone to see. Bottom line I really don’t think I was meant to shot in this thing from the start. And now the fact that my money has been “misplaced” proves it. How can Git receive my money and I have to ask to be entered?
Quite frankly the whole thing stinks right down to results buy PM only…
Good luck to the 7 shooters that were accepted.

So much for the end of the pouting.... Gopher, I don't know either of these guys or any one participating in this shoot, I have never participated in a shoot and don't know any of the rules. It seems to me that Dick is in Drayton Valley, and Git R Don is in high river. All entries were mailed to a PO box of Git R Don in High river, who then mailed them to Dick In Drayton Valley, so, as posted above, his home address would not be posted on the internet. You argued like a little girl about the rules and stomped your feet and held your breath to try and get your way. It is very easy for someone with no interest either way to read this thread and figure out this was a mistake made likely at the hands of Canada Post and no one else. Dick has made 2 attempts to either put you in the shoot, or pay you your money back and you continue to cry and moan. its pathetic. Grow up.

Sporter rifle targets shot and turned in. I left a little wiggle room for the rest of you.

How did everyone do? I personally think I could've done better but that's how it goes I guess.

I made it out to shoot, so that is a huge improvement over last year!

My 300 yard bench rest group is about the worst I have shot in years and I had one off the paper in the 100 yard free hand. It could have gone better.

After cyphering things out here's the winners.
TCHardy nets $100.00 for top Varmint targets( only entry)
TC also got top sporter class and another $100.00
He is also getting an extra $25.00 as Catnthehat tossed in an extra $25 to the pot.
That leaves the two fellows who gave the rimfire a go.
ARG, and Brown Trout.
Each of you fellows gets $75.00
We had 5 entries in Rimfire, and adding in a extra $25 that Gitrdun added to the pot it made for easy math.
There is an extra $25.00 left over for the one competitor who's funds got displaced.... All he has to do is get me his info and it's his.....
If the winners could PM email addresses I'll get your funds via EMT, right quick.
