Thanks in advance!

It's been years but we used to always catch walleye straight out from the main boat launch in Ab Beach. Big hump straight out a ways. Would troll/drift up and down it all day long catching fish.

We were at Lac St. Anne Saturday and managed to fill one walleye tag, caught several small pike and had 6 other bites but didn't manage to hook up.

Fished out there this year and noticed way more pike this winter. They are making a comeback which is nice.

However i know for a fact that there is probably more poaching(especially by locals) at this lake then anywhere else. I wonder if its finally starting tonreally show with the increase in pike now.

In the summer i used to get walleye to like 10-1. And this last year it was closer to 2-1. Guess it could also be the natural cycle, but i dont think so.

Yes the poaching of walleye by locals (cabin owners) is horrendous at this lake, Pigeon Lake and even worse at South buck lake.

I have reported it a few times and really just got a headache out of the deal, phoning the report a poacher line. I will continue to try to report when I see it.
