Dammit. Why do I NOT have emergency pie.

I watched a youtube video the other day of a competitive eater (Matt Stonie) eating brownies, and then I wanted brownies. So I bought some brownie mix and made brownies.

But PIE.

IT'S TOO LATE FOR PIE RIGHT NOW. WHY?! WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN NOW???

Edit: My avatar is me almost exactly eating a brownie, wishing it was pie.

Don't keep an emergency pie, but do have a stash of frozen pie crusts ready to go. Less than an hour to have a hot fresh pie.

Hmmm... never been a big fan of pie crust, so I don't keep emergency pies or pie crusts in the freezer.

I do, however, keep some emergency German plum cake in the freezer, and everything I might need in the pantry / freezer to have a fresh, warm flaugnarde (basically a self-crust baked custard with fruit) in about 90 minutes.

Different strokes...
