Like H380 mentioned be ready for some good action from hungry yappers and yodelers during cold snaps.
One thing to know is sound seems to travel farther in cold weather so adjust your call volume accordingly. I only used hand calls for coyotes. Maybe other callers can comment on their experiences with the volume of electronic calls in cold weather.
If you have a pack coming into a call single file in deeper snow, shoot the last animal on the trail first. Gives you a better chance at the first closer animals when they scatter.
