Concrete prices

What do you guys in the city normally get charged for a driveway demolished and trashed and having the new one prepped and poured? I’m just curious cause I came across a business here in Fort Mcmurray that’s been operating for some time and wanted my driveway done but I thought their price was just crazy at just over $22 per/sq ft. I’m going to shop around but thought who would pay that price?

Its likely accurate, as the disposal of the concrete it likely expensive.

Maybe up there but in central Alberta I think several places take it for free, or almost free, as they recrush it and then sell it for near gravel prices.

In Edmonton you can have it done for around $19/sq ft. Busted out and replaced.

Cost of concrete alone is 4 to 6 dollars . It adds up fast. Not incl rebar ,disposal , Labour

I usually charge $10-$12 per sq ft to remove and replace 4” thick concrete pads. This is southern Alberta. As for Ft Mac I would think $22 is standard price. They gouge you up there!
